Retreat Program
With daily Satsang, Guruji accompanies us on a self-reflective journey towards our true Self. The Master gifts us with spiritual practices, which serve as life-transforming tools for inner growth. During Satsang, you are welcome to ask questions that are most important to you at this moment in your life.
The retreat includes various devotional gatherings in the presence of the Master, a joyful, profound togetherness, meditation, yoga, chanting and time for self-inquiry.
Location
The location of the retreat – Dhyana Retreats – is close to the ocean and has a beautiful beach property nearby, where participants will have the opportunity to attend yoga and have time for swimming.

The retreat is taking place in Divinya, a spiritual living and learning community that is inspired to bring the Sri Vast Teachings into a practical living experience. It is a space for self-transformation, where one can find companionship on the spiritual path in one’s search for clarity and inner peace. Retreat participants have the chance to be part of the Divinya community living exploring a life in peace and harmony. Divinya is located in a beautiful Swedish castle atmosphere with a few hundred hectares of ecological farms, old oak forests, fields, rolling hills and meadows, lakes and rivers, classical parks and alleys, fruit orchards and a big permaculture garden which give an experience of vastness and tranquility. The retreat is fully residential, providing a restful and supportive environment for your inner journey.
Arrival - Departure
The retreat starts on January 12th in the morning. January 11th, can be used for your arrival. The retreat is in total 8 days / 9 nights. If someone wishes to come earlier, or extend their stay, please mention it beforehand in your application or write to us via email. The retreat will end on January 19 evening, departure is in the morning of January 20, after breakfast, unless you wish to extend your stay.
Language:
The retreat will be held in English, if translations are wished or required, community members can offer translation in various languages (incl. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch).
Dress Code:
We suggest simple, modest clothing that allows ease of movement for meditation and yoga, reflecting calmness and respect for the retreat’s atmosphere. Two robes will be lent to you for the duration of your stay. Bringing a sweater for mornings and evenings is advisable.
Meals
Dhyana Retreats offers fine, vegetarian and satvic meals. A café is available for light snacks and in-between refreshments.

During the winter months there are many people who are inspired by the Teachings of Guruji Sri Vast at Dhyana Retreats.
Dhyana Retreats is located along the coast of Tamil Nadu, close to Auroville and Pondicherry, and about two hours from Thiruvannamalai and Chennai International Airport.
Dhyana Retreats also has access to a beautiful beach, where participants can spend time in nature and swim in the ocean.

Dhyana Retreats is on a quiet sideroad near the ‘Auroville bus stop’ on East Coast Road. You can reach the center by taxi in 15 minutes from Pondicherry.
Reaching by flight:
Most international arrivals are at night or early mornings. If you wish, the Center can arrange transport to welcome you at the airport.

Dhyana Retreats offers comfortable, air-conditioned studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, all with private bathrooms and generous living spaces. Healing Center
Participants have the possibility to book additional Divya Deha – Divine Body healing processes, or Ayurvedic programs at the Healing Center of Dhyana Retreats. We provide a healthy, vegan-vegetarian diet.
The café is available for a snack and something to drink during the day.
During your booking, you can choose between vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free meals.
3 meals per day are included in the retreat fee.Yes. The retreat is residential only. It is beneficial as many aspects of our retreat schedule are starting early morning and everyone can continuously take part in the entire experience of these 8 days.

By Plane
Copenhagen Airport has direct trains (50 minutes) to Eslöv (the nearby train station). From Malmö International Airport you can take an airport bus to Malmö station and take a direct train from there to Eslöv.-
Cancellation up until 30 days before the retreat starting date
Up until 30 days before the retreat’s starting date you can cancel your participation and get a partial refund: minus €100 administration fee.

Cancellation less than 30 days before the retreat starting date
Within 30 days before the retreat’s starting date, you can cancel your participation and get a partial refund: minus 50% of the retreat fee.

Cancellation due to illness
If you cannot attend the event due to illness and have a valid doctor’s confirmation you receive a full refund. Note: Once the retreat has started, no refunds are possible.

Cancellation during the retreat
Once the event has started, no refunds are possible. This applies also after check-in if you should fall ill or for any reason you cannot stay for the full duration of the retreat. Please note that your retreat participation can be canceled by the organization in case of non-compliance to the Divinya guidelines, hindering the retreat program, or occurring mental health problems.

Divinya cancels the retreat
In the unlikely event that Divinya cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund. We intend to communicate any decision to cancel the event at least 14 days in advance, with a reservation that unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from doing so

Two robes will be lent to you to wear during the retreat. Divinya has created their own clothing line ‘Colours of Freedom’ as an expression of a new reference of clothing.
We ask you to wear loose, comfortable clothes. During yoga, please do not wear tight-fitting clothes. In the Divinya boutique, you can buy yoga clothing, as well as robes.
The retreat is a complete 8-day residential program. Arrival is in the afternoon, and departure is in the morning of the 9th day. For your benefit, the retreat should be attended for the full 8 days, as it offers continuous guidance with each day building upon the previous one.
