The Blessed Child
It all begun in a small, remote village in Tamil Nadu, South India, where Guruji Sri Vast was born. Already as a child Guruji was so unique, full of joy and wisdom. Guruji was raised in reverence and total acceptance in a setting where Christians, Hindus and Muslims lived side by side, at a time which was also colored by local conflict between castes and religions. From a very early age Guruji entered into transcendent states, stepping out of this worldly plane, left as unconscious. There He experienced different realms of the human life on this planet, where there were no conflicts and where life was not conditioned but harmonious and effortless. Since childhood, young and old had begun to gather around Guruji to listen to His experiences, seeking life guidance and finding solace in Him.
The Early Years
The contrast between the mystical experiences and the lived reality roused spiritual realizations and the quest towards 'What is true?' 'What is real? 'Who is God?' and 'Who am I?' This quest kept the child away from being attached with the current social norms since the mystical experience became His reference in daily life. The older He grew and got to know the world, the stronger the quest became.
He could not understand the discrimination, the treatment towards women in the society, the religious conflicts and fundamentalism in the name of God. He could not identify with any given concepts, whilst in the mystical experiences there was divine harmony in-between all beings. The quest became very real.
Throughout His education, Guruji felt that life needs to be lived and that the educational system is separating knowledge from the living experience. Based on His realizations, Guruji initiated many social projects and institutions to serve nature and people in need. It was an active time with engagements in many environmental movements both locally and internationally.
The Foundation
In the early days an Indian community formed of people inspired by Guruji as a vibrant young man who brought many insights on social reforms and the relationship between the human and the nature. During this time Guruji created an ecological learning center in Tamil Nadu, India. The insights gained from Guruji's spiritual realizations formed the philosophy at the Center, explaining how life can be experienced beyond suffering, in harmony with nature. During these years He met His life partner, a filmmaker from Sweden. They got married and had two sons.
Guruji Sri Vast’s inner quest to explore 'What is Divine?' 'What is human?' and 'What is life on Earth?' continued. Guruji came to realize that it is not just organic food that is needed, but that we need to cultivate organic humans - an organic human society. People from many countries and walks joined His endeavor to explore ways to rediscover the nature of the natural human. During this time He started traveling around the world to inspire, teaching the relationship between the human and the nature.
At one point He realized that everyone is a victim of the way we live. This was the beginning of such a painful period of questioning Himself, this world and the quest for God.
The Enlightenment
At the age of 32, during the winter months, while meditating on a rock in the snowfall in the south of Sweden, Guruji fell unconscious in the snow and attained the Samadhi. The separation between Him and this life had died. Liberated from sufferings and illusions, He entered into the formless realm. For three months Guruji Sri Vast went through this profound transformation of body, mind and the shift in consciousness. For longer periods Guruji lost the speech and did not recognize the current realm. It took more than six months to slowly come back to understand what had happened. When He opened His eyes again after a long time, He woke up in a totally new world with new eyes to see this life.
In Guruji's words,
“I saw my body lying there, as if it was dead. The whole planet Earth became very small, and then the whole galaxy became small. There was no fear, no pain, no questions, no separation, no form. The whole existence started to breathe together as in one single breath and I was totally in bliss. It was a great journey. When I came back to the body, I started to crawl like a newborn child. The body was weightless, the breathing was changed and it felt like floating in the air. My body altered and the way my body experiences life on this planet totally transformed. This state was so full of bliss - all the questions were answered since the questioner dissolved. The purpose of being born was revealed. This experience brought a discontinuity from the past. Every moment in life became so wonderful and precious. Life became open, endless, ageless and goalless. There was nothing to reach anymore, just a great silence inside. For me, that moment revealed the truth that everything is Enlightened in this world - whatever I see and whomever I meet. When a person attains Enlightenment, not just that individual is enlightened. But that person’s whole world becomes enlightened. This is my Message
From this period onwards, I started to communicate with the trees, flowers and all other beings, birds and animals, the stars and the moon. Everything became very human, very divine to relate to and to live with. I see myself as a flower blooming, I see me in all the trees, in every leaf. I am able to feel the whole cosmic movement in my body. I experience the interplay between this life and the infinite, deathless life. There are not many words available in the present language to explain the intensity of life and its endless creation. I see the potential in everyone, to attain this eternity.
"I see you as me, as one who has the potential of exploring the peak of this life, the peak of yourself, the peak of your existence. I am not belonging to any country, to any religion or any culture. I just happened to be born in this human body, in this time, just on holiday from being formless. I see you as a fellow traveler, a fellow formless in form, even if you don't see it."
The Teachings
During this time of transformation, Guruji's hand scribbled notes, moving as if on its own, noting down spiritual insights in poetic form signed as 'The voice of Vast'. From that point, the Teachings of Guruji Sri Vast came to Life. Since then Guruji's Teachings have transformed the lives of thousands, blessing their lives with peace, joy and devotion. Guruji's presence brings healing and life-affirming transformations. Followers of Guruji witness innumerable miracles of healing physical and mental suffering. People from all walks of life come to be healed in His divine presence radiating eternal peace and love.
Guruji teaches the celebration of life as a path to total liberation, guiding towards the infinite life. These timeless Teachings stand on their own, beyond old references, philosophies, religions and traditions. Guruji inspires to liberate from the past, to go beyond social, cultural and religious conditions and identities – to go beyond limitations of fear, guilt, shame, pride and jealousy and to reach union as a natural, divine humanity.
The Master invites everyone into the Divine Age – a new era where humanity can live in harmony with all beings and explore the love, beauty and sacredness in everything and in every moment.

The Presence of the Living Master
Throughout history, humanity has been gifted with prophets, mystics and enlightened Masters. Each of them conveying the same eternal truth of the fundamental oneness of all existence. Guruji Sri Vast recognizes all the Masters and all teachings as part of the evolutionary consciousness. That each incarnation is part of the same consciousness evolving further and further, each time expressing different facets based on the specific socio-political and cultural situation of that time and place. Each incarnation comes to Earth exactly when it was most needed out of a cosmic urge, like when the rain comes after a great heat. They come to reconnect us with the cosmic order of existence and to restore the ethics of life.
Every realization contains the seed for a new sangha to manifest that realization and create a new reality of life as a new consciousness. People have always been drawn to these messengers of truth, to an inner call to serve a higher purpose and to find a deeper meaning in life. At this moment in time, Guruji Sri Vast, an Enlightened Master, is living among us continuing the evolutionary consciousness with a newborn realization for the modern times.
Following the footsteps of Guruji Sri Vast, the living divine manifestation, a sangha has naturally formed carrying out the vision and living this profound realization alongside Guruji. A monastic lineage called The Vastian Humonastic Order has been formed by the followers, to live in communion and explore the Teachings. In Guruji's presence one can experience the reincarnation of the joy of Krishna, the silence of Buddha, the passion and unconditional love of Christ.
Today, one can witness history reincarnating again. A living Master, a living Sangha. It is the same thirst, the same joy, the same quest – the holy vastness bringing the message to the contemporary humanity. It is a call. Today, there is a rare opportunity to share the life of the living Mystic of our times, to be part of something very profound which can bring a shift in the human consciousness.
